A love once lost
It was all I had
My heart was torn
It left me so sad
But then I found you
You made me feel so free
You showed me happiness
No longer caged by my insecurities
You made me feel like never before
You didn’t know it
But now I loved once more
It was you
And now I had to say
But how would I tell you I felt that way
Then I realized what I needed to do
If you were to know
I had to sit down and confront you
As I waited to see you again
I thought by buying gifts
You better understand
Then I learned that it was never meant to be
There was another other than me
What could I say, what could I do
I waited too long
I should have called you

I felt strongly for you
You were loved
